Free nonprofit website template
Nonprofit website template with donate buttons, programs and volunteer roles
A free 3-page nonprofit website with your mission, 3 impact numbers, your programs, donate buttons that open your giving page, volunteer roles, and your staff, board and reports. Edit it in your browser without code and publish it on yourname.heya.bio in about 30 minutes, no credit card. Pro Lite removes the small badge for $9 a year.
The free plan includes 3 sites with up to 5 pages each, HTTPS, and a ZIP download of your files.
What's in the template

- Programs Three programs, each with a line on what it does, who it serves and when.
- What your gift does A photo next to what $25, $60 and $150 pay for, a tax-deductible note, and Give once and Give monthly buttons.
- Story and volunteer call A quote from a neighbor you serve, then a band asking for Saturday volunteers with a sign-up button.
- Get involved page Four volunteer roles with their days and times, food drop-off hours, a most-needed list and other ways to give.
- About page Your story, your staff, the board of directors, buttons for the annual report, Form 990 and audited financials, and your contact details.

What Heya doesn't do yet
Heya does not process donations, so every Donate button links to your giving page on Donorbox, Givebutter, PayPal or your bank. Recurring gifts and tax receipts are handled there too. Volunteer and contact forms aren't built in yet. Forms are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which isn't live. Until then, link a Google Form or a SignUpGenius sheet.
There are no analytics yet, so track gifts in your giving platform. Custom domains are still to come too, so your nonprofit website lives on name.heya.bio for now.
Questions
Is this nonprofit website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
How do people donate?
Each Donate and Give button links to the giving page you already use, like Donorbox, Givebutter or PayPal. Heya does not handle payments, so gifts and receipts go through your provider.
Can volunteers sign up on the site?
Not on the site itself yet. Link the sign-up buttons to a Google Form or a SignUpGenius sheet, and every sign-up lands in one place. Built-in forms are planned but not live.
Can I post our annual report and Form 990?
Yes. Put the PDFs in a shared folder, like Google Drive, and paste the links into the report buttons on the About page.
Can we run a second site for an event?
Yes. The free plan includes 3 sites, so you can keep a separate site for a gala or a food drive. See multiple sites.
Can I download the site?
Yes. Every plan can download the site as a ZIP of plain HTML, CSS, fonts and images, so you can keep a copy or host it anywhere.
