Free personal website builder: a one-page site with your bio, links and photos

No code, no credit card: Heya is $0 for 3 sites of up to 5 pages, or $9 a year on Pro Lite without the badge. Start from 12 templates or a blank page and publish on a free name.heya.bio address with HTTPS.

We make Heya. Numbers for Carrd, Google Sites, Wix and Linktree come from their own pricing and help pages, checked on October 16, 2026.

What to put on a personal website

Most personal sites need the same few parts. Each one is a block you add, move and restyle in the editor.

Resume as a website

A resume website puts your CV at one short link for job applications, your LinkedIn profile and your email signature. Recruiters can open it on a phone without downloading a file.

  1. Start with Mono The Mono template has big type, a 3-column grid numbered 01 to 03 for your skills, a "Selected work" list and an About page.
  2. Add your experience Give each role its own Text block with a list of what you did. A 2-column section puts the dates next to each role.
  3. Link your CV and profiles Add LinkedIn and GitHub icons and a button to your PDF. Heya stores images only, so keep the PDF on Google Drive or Dropbox and link to it.
  4. Set how it shows in search Write a search title of up to 120 characters and a description of up to 300 with your name and role, or turn on "Hide from search engines" if only employers get the link.

Questions

Can I make a personal website for free?

Yes. Heya's free plan includes 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, with no credit card, trial or time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge and their links carry rel="nofollow ugc". Pro Lite removes both for $9 a year.

How do I turn my resume into a website?

Start with the Mono template, give each role a Text block, add LinkedIn and GitHub icons and link a button to your CV. Heya stores images only, so host the PDF on Google Drive or Dropbox. Then publish free on a name.heya.bio address.

Can I use my own domain name?

Not yet. Custom domains come with Pro Standard at $19 a year, which is coming soon. Until then your site lives at name.heya.bio, where the name is 3 to 40 lowercase letters, numbers or hyphens. You can also download the site as a ZIP and host it on your own domain.

Will my personal website show up on Google?

Heya sites are open to search engines by default, and published pages ship no framework JavaScript. Each site gets a search title of up to 120 characters, a description of up to 300, a language, a favicon and a share image. Turn on "Hide from search engines" to keep a site out of results.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You build with 10 block types and 5 section layouts, then pick from 42 fonts and 14 theme presets. No plan allows custom code. You can build without an account and only sign in with Google when you publish.

How we checked

On October 16, 2026 we read each builder's own pricing and help pages and copied the numbers as written: carrd.com/pro and the Carrd docs, Google's Sites Help, wix.com/plans and Linktree's pricing page. Prices were loaded from a US connection. "Not stated" means we couldn't find it there.

Plans change often. If a number here is out of date, email hello@heya.page and we'll fix it.
