Make your church website in 5 steps

- Set your service timesClick any text to change the church name, the times and the address. Update the Sunday timeline on the visit page too.
- Add your photosReplace the two photos with your own. Your front doors or a full room on a Sunday morning works well at the top.
- Link giving and your livestreamPaste the link to your online giving page into the Give online button, and your YouTube channel into Watch online.
- Publish and shareSign in with Google, pick an address like riverbend.heya.bio and publish. Put the link in your bulletin and on your Facebook page.

What Heya doesn't do yet
Heya does not take payments, so online giving happens on your giving provider's page. Paste the link from Tithe.ly, Pushpay or PayPal into the Give online button. Prayer request and contact forms aren't built in yet either. Forms are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which isn't live. Until then, link a Google Form or use the email button.
There's no blog for sermon notes, but the Watch online button can open your YouTube channel, and you can add a YouTube or Vimeo embed for last Sunday's sermon. Custom domains are still to come too, so your church website lives on name.heya.bio for now.
Questions
Is this church website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
How do people give online?
The Give online button links to the giving page you already use, like Tithe.ly, Pushpay or PayPal. Heya does not handle payments, so gifts go straight to your provider.
Can we show sermon videos?
Yes. Link the Watch online button to your YouTube channel, or add a YouTube or Vimeo embed to any page so people can watch the latest sermon right there.
Can we add a page for events or youth?
Yes. The template has 3 pages and the free plan allows 5 per site, so there is room for a youth page or an events page. Pro Lite allows 20 pages per site.
Can we use our own domain name?
Not yet. Custom domains are planned for Pro Standard, which isn't live. For now the site lives on an address like riverbend.heya.bio with HTTPS.
Will it work on phones?
Yes. Every section stacks into one column on a phone, so service times and directions are easy to read in the parking lot.
