What Heya doesn't do yet
Heya doesn't sell tickets or merch, since payments and online ordering aren't live. Payments are planned for Pro Plus ($49 a year). Link each show to the venue's ticket page and the merch button to your Bandcamp or Big Cartel store.
Heya doesn't pull dates from Bandsintown or Songkick, so update the tour page by hand after each booking. There is no mailing list form either, so link a signup page from a service like Mailchimp. You can embed Spotify, SoundCloud or YouTube players on any page.
Questions
Is this band website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
Can fans play our songs on the site?
Yes. You can embed a Spotify, SoundCloud or YouTube player on any page. The template uses plain links to keep the page fast, so add a player where you want one.
Can fans buy tickets or merch on the site?
Not on Heya. Link each show to the venue ticket page and the merch button to your store. Payments are planned for Pro Plus but are not live.
Can we use our own domain?
Not yet. Custom domains are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which is not live. For now the site is on name.heya.bio with HTTPS.
Can we add a page for lyrics or press photos?
Yes. The template has 3 pages and the free plan allows 5 per site. Pro Lite allows 20 pages per site.
Can we download our band website?
Yes. Every plan can download the site as a ZIP of plain HTML, CSS, fonts and images, so you can keep a copy or host it anywhere.
