What Heya doesn't do yet
There's no built-in RSVP form or guest list yet. Forms are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which isn't live. Until then, the RSVP button opens an outside form: a Google Form or a Tally form collects names, meal choices and allergies in a spreadsheet you can sort.
There is no password protection yet, so anyone with the link can open the site. You can ask search engines not to list it in the site settings. Custom domains are still to come too, so your wedding website lives on name.heya.bio for now.
Questions
Is this wedding website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
How do guests RSVP?
The RSVP button links to any form you choose. A free Google Form or Tally form works well: guests reply there and every answer lands in one spreadsheet. A built-in form is planned but not live yet.
Can I add more pages?
Yes. The template has 3 pages and the free plan allows 5 per site, so there is room for a wedding party page or things to do nearby. Pro Lite allows 20 pages per site.
Can I keep my wedding website off Google?
Yes. Turn on "hide from search engines" in the site settings and search engines are asked not to list it. Anyone with the link can still open it, so share it with guests only.
What happens to the site after the wedding?
It stays up for as long as you want, on the free plan too. Swap the countdown for a thank-you note and add a page of photos from the day.
Can I download my wedding website?
Yes. Every plan can download the site as a ZIP of plain HTML, CSS, fonts and images, so you can keep a copy or host it anywhere.
