What Heya doesn't do yet
Heya has no booking calendar, availability sync or payments, so guests cannot reserve dates or pay on the site itself. Payments are planned for Pro Plus ($49 a year), which isn't live. Until then, guests check dates and book on your Airbnb or Vrbo listing, or email you to book direct and you send the invoice.
Password protection and custom domains are still to come, so anyone with the link can open the site, and it lives on a name.heya.bio address. Keep the exact street address and door code off the site and send them by email before arrival, the way the template does.
Questions
Is this vacation rental website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
Can I use it as a direct booking site for my Airbnb?
Yes. The Book page has an Email to book button for direct stays next to buttons for your Airbnb and Vrbo listings, so guests can pick either way. Send past guests the link so they can book with you next time.
Can guests check availability or pay on the site?
Not yet. Heya has no booking calendar, and payments are planned for Pro Plus ($49 a year), which is not live. Link to your listing calendar on Airbnb or Vrbo, or reply to booking emails with open dates and a payment link.
Can I make a site for each rental?
Yes. The free plan allows 3 sites, so each property can have its own address. Pro Lite also allows 3 sites, with up to 20 pages each.
Can I keep the exact address private?
Yes. The template shows the area, not the street address, and its map link points at the neighborhood. Send the exact address and door code in your confirmation email.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Custom domains are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which is not live. For now your vacation rental website lives on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS.
