What Heya doesn't do yet
Heya does not take orders or payments, so the Order ahead and Shop beans buttons link to the tools you already use, like Square, Toast or Shopify. There is no built-in contact form or newsletter signup yet: forms are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which isn't live. Until then, link your Instagram and add an email button for catering and event questions.
Questions
Is this coffee shop website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
Does it work for a cafe or tea shop?
Yes. Swap the drinks and food for your own menu and change the photos. The template has 2 pages and the free plan allows 5, so you can add a lunch menu or a catering page.
Can customers order ahead?
Yes, through the ordering app you already use. Paste your Square, Toast or other order link into the Order ahead buttons, and customers order and pay there. Heya does not take orders or payments itself.
Can I sell coffee beans on the site?
Link the Shop beans buttons to a store you already have, like Shopify or Square. Payments on Heya are planned for Pro Plus ($49 a year) but are not live yet.
Can I change the fonts and colors?
Yes. Start from one of 14 theme presets, then set your own colors and pick from 42 fonts. See customization.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Custom domains are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which is not live. For now your coffee shop website lives on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS.
