What Heya doesn't do yet
Heya does not handle signups, logins or payments, so every Start free trial button links to your app's signup page and billing stays in your app. Demo requests work the same way: link Book a demo to Calendly, or add a Calendly embed to the Contact page.
There is no custom code, so you can't add a chat widget or tracking scripts, and analytics aren't available yet. Pro Standard ($19 a year) is planned to add analytics, forms and custom domains, but it isn't live.
Questions
Is this SaaS website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
Can I use it as my product's main website?
Yes, on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS. Custom domains are planned for Pro Standard, which isn't live yet. Until then you can download the site and host it on your own domain.
Can people sign up or pay on the site?
No. Heya has no forms or payments today. Link the trial and pricing buttons to your app, and handle billing there.
Can I add a demo video?
Yes. Add a YouTube or Vimeo embed anywhere, like under the hero or on the Pricing page.
Can I add pages like docs or a changelog?
Yes. The template has 3 pages and the free plan allows 5 per site. Pro Lite allows 20. There is no blog yet, so a changelog is a normal page you edit.
Can I download the site?
Yes. Every plan can download the site as a ZIP of plain HTML, CSS, fonts and images, so you can host it anywhere.
