What Heya doesn't do yet
Heya has no forms yet, so waitlist sign-ups, pilot applications and job applications link out to a Google Form, a Calendly page or your hiring tool. Forms are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which isn't live.
There is no blog for launch posts, no analytics and no custom code for tracking scripts yet. Custom domains are still to come too, so the site lives on name.heya.bio for now, or you can download it and host it on your own domain.
Questions
Is this startup website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
Can I collect waitlist sign-ups?
Not with a built-in form yet. Link the main button to a Google Form or a Tally form, and sign-ups land in a spreadsheet. Built-in forms are planned but not live.
Can I add a demo video?
Yes. Add a YouTube or Vimeo embed anywhere, like under the hero or next to how it works.
Can I add a press page?
Yes. The template has 3 pages and the free plan allows 5 per site, so there is room for press or an FAQ. Pro Lite allows 20 pages per site.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Custom domains are planned for Pro Standard, which isn't live. You can also download the site as a ZIP and host it yourself.
Will it look right on phones?
Yes. Every section stacks into one column on a phone, so investors and candidates can read it from a link in an email.
