What Heya doesn't do yet
There's no built-in request form or online booking yet. Forms are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which isn't live. Until then, the Send me your list buttons open an email to you, which works for most handyman jobs because customers can attach photos.
Payments aren't available yet either. They're planned for Pro Plus ($49 a year), so for now you invoice and get paid the way you do today.
Questions
Is this handyman website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
How do customers send me a job list?
The Send me your list buttons open a new email to your address, so customers can type the list and attach photos. If you would rather use a form, link the buttons to a Google Form instead.
Can I list a price for every job?
Yes. The prices page has a row for each job, with the job name and a short line for the price. Add a row for each job you do often and delete the rest.
Can I make it a one-page site?
Yes. Move the price list to the home page and delete the Prices page, or keep both. The free plan allows up to 5 pages per site.
Does it work on phones?
Yes. Most people will open your site from a text or a Nextdoor post. Every section adjusts to small screens and the call button opens the dialer. See responsive design.
Can I download my handyman website?
Yes. Every plan can download the site as a ZIP of plain HTML, CSS, fonts and images.
