What Heya doesn't do yet
Heya isn't a client portal: there are no intake forms, secure messages, booking or payments. Keep those in your practice management tool and link to it from the booking buttons, so client details never pass through the site. Forms are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which isn't live.
Custom domains are still to come, so the site lives on name.heya.bio for now. To share it with a few people before it shows up in Google, turn on the "Hide from search engines" setting, then turn it off when you are ready.
Questions
Is this therapist website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
Can clients book or fill in intake forms on the site?
Not on Heya itself. The booking buttons link to your practice management tool or a scheduling page like Calendly, where intake forms and client details stay. Heya has no forms yet.
Does it work for counselors and psychologists?
Yes. Change the license line and the specialties. The same pages work for a counselor, a social worker, a psychologist or a small group practice.
Can I leave my fees off the site?
Yes. Delete the fee band and the fees page, or replace the numbers with a line like "Ask about fees on the free call".
Will it work on phones?
Yes. Every section stacks into one column on a phone, and the call button opens the dialer. See responsive layouts.
Can I use my own domain?
Not yet. Custom domains are planned for Pro Standard, which is not live. For now the site is on name.heya.bio, and you can download it as plain HTML to host anywhere.
