What Heya doesn't do yet
Heya does not take bookings or payments yet, so there's no built-in calendar. The Book online buttons link to your booking page instead. Square Appointments, Vagaro, Fresha, GlossGenius and most salon tools give you a public link where clients pick a stylist, a service and a time.
Custom domains are not live yet either, so the site runs on name.heya.bio for now. They are planned for Pro Standard ($19 a year), which is coming soon.
Questions
Is this hair salon website template free?
Yes. The template and publishing are free: up to 3 sites with up to 5 pages each on a name.heya.bio address with HTTPS, no credit card and no time limit. Free sites show a small "Made with Heya" badge, which Pro Lite removes for $9 a year.
Can clients book appointments on the site?
They book through your booking tool. Paste your Square Appointments, Vagaro, Fresha or GlossGenius link into the Book online buttons and clients land on your live calendar. A Calendly page can also be embedded with the embed block.
Can I add a gallery of my work?
Yes. Add a page with image blocks in a grid layout for before and after photos. The template has 3 pages and the free plan allows 5 per site. Pro Lite allows 20 pages per site.
Can I change the colors and fonts to match my salon?
Yes. The template uses the warm Clay preset, and you can switch to any of the 14 presets or choose from 42 fonts. See customization for what you can change.
Can I use my own domain name?
Not yet. Custom domains are coming with Pro Standard ($19 a year), which is not live. Until then your site runs on a free name.heya.bio address with HTTPS.
