Carrd's Pro Lite plan is $9 per year for 3 sites without custom domains. For $19 per year, Pro Standard lets you publish up to 10 sites to domains you own, with Let's Encrypt SSL, forms, custom code embeds, and analytics.

Their Creator plan is $8.33/mo when billed annually at $100 (or $10 monthly) and includes a free custom domain plus custom domain Link in Bio and Store product URLs. Beacons also lets you host a media kit and product pages at a custom domain.
Milkshake builds mobile sites out of swipeable pages called Cards. Lite at US$2.99 per month and Pro at US$5.00 per month billed yearly at US$59.99 per year don't support custom domains. You'll need Pro+ at US$8.33 per month, billed yearly at US$99.99 per year.
Entry-level paid plans often remove platform branding without adding custom domains. Our Heya Pro Lite ($3 a month), Carrd Pro Lite ($9 per year), and Milkshake Lite (US$2.99 per month billed monthly) all remove badges or branding, and neither they nor Milkshake Pro (US$5.00 per month billed yearly) include a custom domain.

Also check if a free domain renews at a cost later, like Lnk.Bio's .bio domain, which is free for a year.
Another mistake is skipping search and social metadata after connecting your domain. On Heya, search engines can find your site by default through its sitemap.xml and robots.txt, unless you turn on Hide from Google. Set a site name, description, tab icon, and 1200x630 share image so links preview cleanly in chats and feeds.
