Password protection / Pro Plus

For a few.
Not the
whole world.

Some things are better shared with an invited few. Add a username and password to your Heya site with Pro Plus or higher, and choose who gets the details.

Not everything needs an audience

The right people.
The right moment.

Keep the door closed while an idea takes shape. Open it for the people who need to see it.

01 / CLIENT PREVIEWS

Show the work. Not the world.

Share a work-in-progress with your client before its public debut. A link and shared login details keep the review simple.

02 / PERSONAL GATHERINGS

A place for your people.

Give a weekend away, a small celebration, or a reunion a home. Share the site credentials with the people on your list.

NOT QUITE READY FOR EVERYONE. A FIRST LOOK, JUST FOR YOU.
03 / EARLY LOOKS

Before the big hello.

Let a few trusted eyes see your next idea first. Gather their thoughts before you remove the password and publish it openly.

Your door. Your call.

Keep it simple.
Keep it for them.

One shared set of credentials for the site. No individual visitor accounts to create or guest list to manage.

A few things, out in the open

Before you
close the door.

Which plan includes password protection?

Password protection is available with Pro Plus or higher. Set it up in the Settings tab of the Publish panel.

What do visitors need to enter?

A username and password. You choose both when setting up protection; if you leave the username blank, Heya uses guest. Share these details with your visitors.

Does each visitor get a separate account?

No. This is a shared site-level username and password, not a membership system or individual visitor accounts. Anyone with those credentials can use them to view the site.

How do I remove the password?

Open Publish, go to Settings, clear the Password field, and publish your changes. Visitors will no longer need those credentials to view your site.

Is the preview protecting real content?

No. The invitation is a local interaction demo with the public code OPEN. To protect a real Heya site, enable password protection in its Publish settings.
