Four friends and one very old van

Rust Belt Radio started in a garage in Lakewood, Ohio. Two albums and about 400 shows later, we still load the van ourselves.

Lake Effect is our third record and the first we made without a click track.

Learned on a borrowed kit at church and never gave it back.

Sam Kowalski

Drove the van for all 400 shows. Collects old fuzz pedals.

Keys and vocals

Grace Lin

Classically trained, now plays a 1978 organ with one dead key.
